Only one other time did I call a customer service hotline to complain about a product.  Yesterday was the day!  I had been eating the oatmeal Slim-Fast bars for breakfast for some time.  In fact, I liked them too much!  Then…POW…they changed something about their product.  Let’s just say that that I never had too much of a problem in the past.  But, you should always read the sides of labels.  Especially the ones that read "Excess consumption may have a laxative effect" (may I add, that it can make you bloated or "gassy").  Again…I warn you to ALWAYS read labels.

I read the label on an older box and noticed that this same warning was on that box also.  However; the sugar alcohol was up by 1 gram on the new box.  Now, I can’t say that is what causes this.  Maybe it is just me.  But, either way, I did not have good effects from the new product version.  Although they still taste pretty good, I also complained that the taste is not as good as before.  I still recommend the product to others, as long as you have a strong adaptibility to it.  I am going to see how some of the other slim-fast bars agree with me.  Hopefully they will bring back the old style of the product.

By the way, it was an excellent customer service call and the representative will be sending me some coupons to try some of the other products.
