I got up at 5AM and we were on the road to Iowa City, Iowa by 6AM.  The relative that I was driving there had a scheduled doctor’s appointment there.  The drive went ok and arrived there in plenty of time.

On the way back, we stopped in to see my mother.  My mother was being all silly again.  She was joking about her friends at the nursing home.  It was rare form to see her like this.  If her diet allows it, we hope to bring some home cooked food to the nursing home for Thanksgiving.

I also got to watch the movie called Wall-E.  It is a kid’s movie, but sometimes has a drawing from adult viewers.  I guess I would recommend it for children, but I don’t think I got so much into this movie.  Although it did have some cute & funny parts in the movie, I still could not forget how the character looked too much like the character in the movie  Short Circuit.

Wall-E is about a robot that cleans up garbage on Earth.  However; humans have already left the Earth because of changes that have taken place on earth.  A space craft comes to earth to drop off a new more modern robot called Eve.  Wall-E right away falls in love with Eve and tries to win her over.  The story goes on to show what happens when people only depend on machines and forget about all the other important things.  It even gives the image of what happens when you have machines do everything for you and no exercise is done at all.
