I drove to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to visit my mother for the Mother's Day weekend.  I left on May 7th (Thursday) at about 2:45pm to drive to Iowa.  I visited with family and my mother thill May 10th. (Sunday).

I passed Grinnell, Iowa where I had a wipe out in December.  Of course there was no snow this time, so it was very easy to drive by.  However; I stopped at the exact same gas station to get a cup of coffee.  Trust me, it gave me bad memories of being there.  If you want to read about that previous story, you can go to this link: http://www.allendavisblog.com/2008/12/sliding-in-the-snow-in-iowa.html

While in Cedar Rapids, we did a few fun things.  I got to play Wii bowling in which I was at least able to break a game of 100 points.  I think my high score on Wii bowling was 180.  I also watched the movie The Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Transformers.
