Ok…Here goes my short, but sad story.  I dropped my iPhone in the toilet.  After retrieving the phone (don't ask the details), the phone had a pop up screen that read something like "No SIM chip".  Then th iPhone started to flicker every few seconds.  I frantically tried to get the chip out, but could not find a paper clip to put in the hole to pry the chip out.  I then watched the iPhone as it kept slowly flickering and then finally the screen turned white.  Then the white screen looked a little fuzzy and then finally turned completely black.  All this took place in about 3 to 5 minutes.

I went to Google.com and searched under the embarrassing words of "Dropped iPhone In Toilet".  I came up with 794,000 search results for this.  Hmmm….sounds like others have had this problem.  In fact, this would not of happened if my phone clip would not of opened up which resulted in the iPhone flying through the air.  Most of the searches on Google state to remove the SIM chip and let it dry out.  There was some suggestions to use a hair dryer on it.  One of the more popular things that I found on the internet was to put the iPhone in a bag of rice because the rice absorbs moisture.

Long story short….To all my friends: Please email me your address, phone number, birthday (if you want a birthday card) or other contact information.  I think all the information has been lost if I can not bring the iPhone back to life.  You can also call me at my regular land line phone number.
