I went on the Susan G. Komen for the Cure walk today in Omaha, Nebraska. I went with a group called “Kim’s Krew” which is a group that walked in honor of someone who I know who has survived cancer. I am not use to getting up early. But, this was one day that I got up the earliest in a long time. I woke up at 5:45am. I tried to arrive at 7am to meet the rest of the “krew”, but I under estimated the traffic in that area. I ended up having to park about 3 blocks or more away from the Omaha Civic Auditorium. After walking the few extra blocks to the location, I ended up there a few minutes past 7am. I have included several photos showing the event.
