I recently went to a coffee shop for some after work coffee.   The guy took my order for my coffee drink.  He then asked me my name so that he could write it on the coffee cup.  I said my name is Allen.  He asked my name again since he did not appear to be hearing me correctly.  I said my name again.  On the third attempt, he turned the coffee cup and wrote my name on it.  He then proceeded to assemble my drink order.  After a short wait, my coffee drink was ready.  I picked it up and went on home with it.  Later on I looked at the coffee cup and had seen that it read “Ellen”.  It appears someone did not hear me correctly.  Oh well, I got a good laugh out of it.
