Great customer service at store
A while back I was at Target with someone. We were looking at some shirts and saw a shirt that I would like. However; the shirt was not in my size and I needed a larger one (hold back your laughter….I know what you’re thinking). We looked around and could not see any customer service person nearby. However; we could easily see the customer service phone a few feet from us (at least I think I remember it being a phone or alert button). I did whatever instructions that it stated for alerting a customer service representative. The recording came back and stated something to the effect that a customer service person will be with me in sixty seconds. Based on my previous experiences with other companies, I had no faith that we would ever get a customer service person that same day. About 45 seconds later, we see this guy frantically coming towards me. It looked like he was almost running, but I think it would be fair to say that he was doing a very brisk walk. He was armed with a price gun on the side of him. I had to laugh at myself, because it looked like a scene from a Star Wars movie. It was like Luke Skywalker (or Han Solo) came running around the corner with a laser gun. Just as I saw him briskly walk (looked more like he was running) around the corner, I heard a speaker state something. The speaker voice seemed to be coming from his price gun and said something like, “You have 15 seconds to get to your destination”. I think that is when he quickly deactivated the customer alert service. He was able to scan the tag on the other shirts and see if they had one in my size. What can I say….great customer service.
