Dog tried to eat my eBook reader
Recently, a Kindle was recently lent to me. The Kindle
is a device that allows you to read eBooks (electronic books). I have not explored all of the options of this device, but understand that you can even get some free eBooks. You can buy or get eBooks over WiFi systems. I was told that I would be responsible if the Kindle
was lost, stolen or eaten. I know the words “or eaten” had to of been put in there as a joke.
After I got the device, I took it with me to show some relatives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. When I got it out to show them, even the family dog had to come over to check it out. Except the family dog thought it was food and tried to jump at it. I quickly pulled it back as the dog frantically tried to sink his teeth into the Kindle. I finally got it put away from the dog so that he would not eat it. That is when I had to laugh because I almost became responsible for the destruction of it by the dog.
