PostHeaderIcon Christmas Gifts For The Dog and Family Members

AllenChristmas2008I got the family dog a CRUNCH CARD (Edible Christmas Card for Dogs) and doggie cookies (they look like Oreo cookies).  Of course the youngest child in the family got two Wii games.  I gave him the  Worms: A Space Oddity and Meet the Robinsons Wii video games.  It turned out to be an ok Christmas even though I had a little trouble getting to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Here is a photo of me with clothes that I got for Christmas.  Trust me, the picture of me is not that good.  But, in case you want to get an idea of what I currently look like, you can click the photo for a larger version of the photo.

PostHeaderIcon Happy Holidays from Allen Dean Davis

I hope you all have a happy holiday (Christmas, New Years, and whatever else you celebrate).  I will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and hope to return on December 27th.  Although I have had a few hardships from my trip, I have made the best of it.  I got to visit with my mother and other relatives in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.  I got to play video games with with someone and could not get the mind set of the game.  However; I did really good with the bowling game in which I won that game.

PostHeaderIcon Grew up on this Christmas music

My dad use to play Brenda Lee singing
"Jingle Bell Rock".
As a result, I have grew up on hearing it every Christmas.  After my
dad passed away, I made sure that this record got passed on to me.  I
have the original record with this song on it!  Too bad there is not
too many record players I can play it on.

Hopefully, you will enjoy hearing it too.  You can click the arrow
to the left to play a short version of the song.

PostHeaderIcon Calling Cards As Gift In My Christmas Cards

I have almost finished with my mom's Christmas cards and will be sending them out soon.  I have to get two more addresses from a few relatives so that I can send out the last two Christmas cards.  As a special gift to my mom and to the person I am sending the Christmas card to, I have included a free calling card number.  This way it will encourage them to call my mom and allow them to make free calls to her.

International Phone Cards -- Domestic Phone Cards

I bought these calling cards from the above website (see banner).  I purchased 100 minutes for only $2.  The best thing about the particular calling card I selected is that there is no maintenance or carrier fees.  The "per call fees" can be fifty cents, a dollar or even more, but this card don't have the carriers service fees.  There is a fee for originating a call from a pay phone, but most of the people I send these to will call from their home.  If you are interested in inexpensive calling cards, you can go to the banner link above and shop around on their website to see what cards are available or best suited for your calling needs.  These phone cards are inexpensive presents for mom, dad, coworkers, friends, and many others.

I should also add that you can sign up for this service's affiliate program and sell calling cards through your website.  Actually you don't even have to have a website in order to take part in this.  You get special links from their service and put them on your website, in your emails, blogs and other allowed places.  The service keeps track of the purchases that people make through your special links (banners, text links and forms) and then pay you a percentage of the sales that you made from this.  You can sign up for the affiliate program at Speedypin.com.
