Recently when I went to the Zombie Walk Omaha, I came across some art in an unusual place.  I did not find this art at a museum, not at a library, and not even at a public government building.  Instead, I found the items in a window of an attorney’s office.  The items were created from old vacuums, old toasters, and other interesting materials.  I found this art in the window of the office of Mark Goodall which is located in Omaha, Nebraska.  I also got an invite to take some photos of the art that is inside his law office.  I have to say that it is pretty interesting art work.  You can view his art work at the website of steampunkeyecandy.com.  I have included several photos of the items that he has created.

On October 15th, 2011 (Saturday), I went to the Zombie Walk Omaha.  It was kind of an early Halloween activity.  This is where a bunch of people dress up as zombies and walk the streets in a parade form.  They encourage the people to play the part by dragging their feet, moaning, and saying “need brains”.  Around 2pm, they started to apply make up to the people who were taking part in the event.  The actual walk took place around 6pm.  I am pictured above next to a zombie character figurine (not a real person in this one).  Behind me, you can see the limousine hearse.  I think you can rent the hearse for parties and other events.

I helped out at the fundraiser called “Clean Out The Closets For Cancer”.  It was held on October 8th, 2011 from 8 am to 4pm.  The sale was held at the Account Recovery parking lot which is located at 3933 N 91st Street in Omaha, Nebraska.  People donated items to be sold for this fundraiser.  There was also a bake sale where people had donated their items that they baked.

I arrived at about 7am to help unload all the sale items out onto tables.  At about 10am, I left to change into “Allen the Balloon Man” so that I could attract attention into the area of the sale.  I also made balloon art creations for the children.  Here is some of the pictures of the event.
